The Carbon you love in a smaller package.

Description

The SPORT Short Bifins 2 make traveling a breeze due to their shorter size and easy packability. Their compact size also makes them easier to maneuver for instructor work, underwater photography, and even for shorter freedivers who have trouble maneuvering long bifins underwater. An updated rounded carbon angle between the foot pocket and blade gives additional strength to this important area, although pushing off the pool floor and wall should still be avoided. Choose between soft and medium stiffness blades, paired with standard Pathos or Imersion foot pockets.

Details and Materials

Made from the highest-quality materials

  • Premium 100% carbon fiber
  • Handcrafted from start to finish
  • Layered by hand for unparalleled responsiveness
  • Bottleneck shape resulting in more power due to their efficient transition in water
  • Soft and medium stiffness blades both have the same layering of carbon; the stiffness is determined purely by the blade dimensions

    • Heavy-duty, wear-resistant, UV-resistant foot pockets
    • Custom open-heel foot pockets for flexibility
    • Updated Comfort Lining with a soft micropore interior for maximized comfort

Choosing Bifin Blade Stiffness

Soft: Suitable for all women, for athletes with excellent straight-leg bifin technique, and for men who want to use these fins for training and performance. Softer blades are more economic in terms of energy consumption, although it mostly remains a preference among freedivers with more strength whether to choose a soft or medium stiffness.

Medium: Can be suitable for those who rely more on the knee-kicking technique (stronger front kick due to more bent knees) and also for stronger males who use the straight-leg bifin technique. Can also be suitable for strong males who make multiple shallow dives (e.g. fun diving, spearfishing, underwater photography, and safety freediving).

Hard: Can be suitable for very strong and heavy men who dive to mid-range depths who need to overcome resistance (e.g. spearfishers diving in currents). More suitable for the knee-kicking technique.

Care Instructions:

All equipment should be rinsed in fresh water and placed out of direct sunlight and heat. Do not place heavy objects on top of the bifins. For more information, please see how to care for your freediving bifins and monofin and how to travel with them. Comes with a 1 year limited warranty.
